The World As I See It

The Photography and Blog of Marcin 'Rambo' Roguski
Being itself a back road of much longer Route 12, it has many famous segments: perhaps the most famous are the Warrior Trail from Little Bighorn Battlefield site to Broadus (where these pictures were taken), and also the Beartooth Scenic Highway that climbs over 10k feet AMSL (which has it's own gallery). In his book Dateline America, Charles Kuralt named this route “the most beautiful drive in America.”
It's 2017 now, about 10 years after this pic was taken. I look young and chubby -- although now I look older and still chubby. Seeing my facial features, I realize I'm quite a mix of my parents and their own parents. Both my father and mother have Cheyenne fathers but each of their respective mothers were from other tribes, and my paternal grandmother was of mixed Cree and European blood from the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation -- while my maternal grandmother was from the Confederated Umatilla Indian Reservation in Oregon (salmon folk). -- Eugene LC 1/21/17
